Teachers may use our database to update their profiles, view their training history with CIBL, find people affiliated with the CIBL program (other teachers, scientists, or trainers), and register for workshops. You may print this page to guide you in using the CIBL database.
If you are ALREADY in the CIBL database:
- Use the "User login" feature on the left side of this page.
- Enter your email address. (This may be your school email address, if you were added to the database by your school district administrator.)
- Enter your password. (If you can't remember your password, click "Help me!")
- You may now access all of the links on the Teacher Resources page, including information in our database:
*My Profile—View or edit your profile.
*People Search—Search for teachers, trainers, or scientists who've taken the trainings that you've completed.
*Register for Trainings—See instructions below. You must coordinate registrations with your district administrator.
*My Resources—View training courses that you have completed.
*Request a Kit—Request a kit for a training course you have completed (for use in subsequent years). You must coordinate kit requests with your district administrator.
- If you update any information, you must click the “Submit” button for these changes to take affect.
When you are finished, click the “Logout” link which appears after your name.
Instructions for ADDING yourself to the CIBL database:
- Click here to get started.
- Click on “Teacher.”
- You may now fill in your profile information. You MUST fill in at least the REQUIRED fields. At the bottom of the form, please choose your school district, THEN choose your school from the drop-down lists.
- Click the “Submit” button. You should see a confirmation screen, and you will be sent an email message with your password.
When you are finished, click the “Logout” link which appears after your name.
Instructions for registering for CIBL trainings:
Before registering for a training session, you must coordinate with your district administrator for payment of fees and scheduling. Your school district may have a limited number of places reserved in particular training cycles.
- Login to our database using the "User login" on the left side of the screen.
- Enter your email address and password.
- Click on the “Login” button. This will take you to your personal resources.
- Click on "Register for Trainings". You will see a list of trainings and kit loans for which you are eligible (depending on the grade level you teach and which trainings you have completed).
- After you make your selections, click on the “Submit” button. You will immediately be told if your choices are approved. If not, you will be instructed to choose again.
- You may check your schedule by clicking on “My Resources”.
When you are finished, click the “Logout” link which appears after your name.
